WAXIE Promotes Randy Hammond to Director of Corporate Account Services

SAN DIEGO, CA -- WAXIE Sanitary Supply is pleased to announce that Randy Hammond has been promoted to the position of Director of Corporate Account Services, effective Monday, January 18th, 2016.

Randy began his career at WAXIE almost 30 years ago on August 18th, 1986. He started in the warehouse, which lead to equipment installations and eventually a short stint as a WAXIE driver. The next few years were spent as a Customer Service Representative and a Buyer in the Purchasing Department, which led to a position as Assistant Purchasing Director and eventually to a role as the Assistant Marketing Director. In 1997, he became a member of the Education & Development Department and currently holds the title of Senior Training Specialist.

In Randy’s new role he will be managing and overseeing the maintenance and administration for all Corporate Accounts and Network Services Accounts located at WAXIE San Diego. With Randy’s vast knowledge of WAXIE’s internal system, his product knowledge, organizational abilities, and superior technical skills this role is a perfect fit.

Randy’s inherent interpersonal and teaching skills will help WAXIE and the Corporate Accounts team to maintain its consistently excellent service to our customers. “Randy’s deep understanding of WAXIE’s people and processes will help us keep our promises to our customers and be a strong unifying force between WAXIE branches and our Corporate Accounts Team,” said Steve Thomas, Senior Director of Corporate and Strategic Accounts.
