PET Plastic Cold Cups

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a thermoplastic resin of the polyester family, widely used in the production of food and beverage containers. PET’s popularity originates from its high clarity and durability. The clarity of PET cups are unmatched by any other commonly used disposable plastic cup materials such as PP and PS. Karat® PET cold cups are not only freeze/heat resistant (-22°F to 180°F), but also crack resistant. Karat® PET cups are used for a wide range of products such as iced tea, slushes, juice, ice cream, cold beer and more. Unlike other plastics, Karat® PET is recyclable. It’s resin identification is 1.

Paper Cold Cups

Karat® paper cold cups are made from premium paper and are double poly lined to prevent leaking. Paper cold cups are designed with a rolled rim for added strength.

Karat® paper cold cups are widely used at the water cooler, break room and restaurants for water, iced tea, fountain drinks and slushes. Karat® paper cold cups are recyclable.

Paper Hot Cups

Karat® paper hot cups are poly lined and made from premium paper. Paper hot cups are available in both white and stock print. Our stock print is designed to provide an upscale image at an affordable price.

Karat® paper hot cups are built with a comfortable grip and a broad bottom to minimize tip-overs. Paper hot cups are widely used in break rooms, cafes and restaurants for hot beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, coffee and tea. Karat® paper hot cups are recyclable.

Plastic Cutlery

Karat® cutlery are made from premium plastic and are widely used for appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, dessert and more. We offer medium heavy weight made from polypropylene and extra heavy weight made from polystyrene. 

PP (polypropylene) is more flexible, smaller and lighter in weight. Medium heavy weight cutlery offers a high resistance to cracking.

PS (polystyrene) is a more rigid product and very durable. Extra heavy weight cutlery are standard length and offer superior performance.

Karat Earth Hot Cups

Karat® Earth eco-friendly paper hot cups are made from renewable resources and lined with compostable material. Karat® Earth compostable cups can hold up against temperatures up to 165° F and are ideal for hot beverages. It is recommended to store Karat® Earth eco-friendly paper hot cups in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Karat® Earth eco-friendly paper hot cups are fully compostable in commercial composting facilities. Certified as compostable in USA and Japan.

Karat Earth Bagasse Tableware

BPI- Certified compostable and biodegradable, Karat^® Earth Bagasse plates have 1 or 3 compartments and are available in a variety of sizes from 6” to 10”. Utilizing mother nature’s every resource, our eco-friendly plates are made with the sugarcane fibers left over after the sugar is extracted. These fibers are strong, durable, and make a great source of sustainable material for food packaging. Great for hot and cold foods to-go or served on premises, these plates have a naturally sturdy structure which makes them perfect for all of your delicious creations.
