SAN DIEGO, CA, April 10, 2018 – WAXIE Sanitary Supply announces the promotion of Mike Midas to Executive Vice President for the Northern California, Pacific Northwest and Colorado regions.

Mike has been with WAXIE for 12 years. During his tenure, Mike has led the Portland branch through a start-up phase and has also been a part of acquiring WAXIE’s Seattle and Alaska branches. For the past seven years he has been the General Manager for the Colorado branch and he has led the region to impressive growth, expanding the WAXIE brand and presence throughout the state. Mike’s success is founded on hard work as well as his ability to connect on a personal level with every employee in a way that motivates them to bring their best to WAXIE.

Harry Babb Retires from WAXIE Sanitary Supply

SAN DIEGO, CA – On March 16, 2017 WAXIE San Diego held a retirement party to honor long time employee, Harry Babb.

After over 40 years of service, Harry retired from his role as Vice President of Operations/MIS. In 1976 he was hired by Morris Wax to be a Data Processing Manager when the burgeoning company consisted of 70 employees. His role expanded as technology progressed, and in 1986 he was promoted to Vice President of Data Processing and Operations, which eventually morphed into the position of VP of Operations and MIS. Harry’s long-term leadership in technology and operations at WAXIE has influenced multiple aspects of daily life for the over 850 people that are currently employed by the company.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – WAXIE Sanitary Supply congratulates Craig McDaniel and Greg Taylor of the Intermountain Region for key changes in their respective careers.

On June 30, 2017, Craig McDaniel will retire after 31 years serving the WAXIE Intermountain Region. Craig began his career with WAXIE in 1985 as a Sales Representative and was promoted to Sales Manager in 1990. In January of 2006, Craig was promoted to General Manager and was then named Vice President, General Manager of the Intermountain Region in 2008.
