WAXIE's drivers are the “promise keepers” of the organization and make sure that our product gets delivered safely, securely, and on time. Our fleet of route delivery drivers operate on a Monday through Friday schedule and drive well-maintained, professional vehicles to deliver products locally, that keep our customers’ facilities cleaner, healthier and safer.

As a WAXIE driver, you will start your day at one of our many distribution centers where your vehicle has been prepped by our Night Crew, preloaded with palletized orders, in accordance to your scheduled route that day. After stretching and conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, you will be ready to hit the road and safely deliver WAXIE’s products to customers directly on a local route. During your routes, you can expect to provide world-class customer service by interacting with customers directly and assisting with any additional questions or concerns that they may have. At the end of your shift, you will conclude your day at the same distribution center you started in, handling the post-trip vehicle inspection and reviewing your route with your team members.

WAXIE’s driving opportunities are ideal for both CDL and Non-CDL candidates who are looking to stay local, work with great teams, and enjoy a work-life balance by coming home every single night. In addition to the base pay, WAXIE offers drivers many other incentives including: rig pay, long haul pay, pallet pay and more!

MEET GREG ALEXANDER

Meet Greg Alexander, WAXIE’s Fleet Supervisor at the San Diego, California location.

Greg is a decorated Marine Corps Veteran who made the transition to WAXIE after devoting 21 years of active duty service specializing in Motor Transport Operations.  His core responsibilities include planning, training and managing the fleet operations.

Greg loves working alongside the drivers, customers, warehouse personnel and sales team to guarantee the smooth flow of operations and ensure that WAXIE supplies and machines are delivered in a safe and timely manner throughout Southern California. Lastly, he makes sure that our drivers are equipped with the tools, support, and equipment necessary to get their job done daily.

What motivates and inspires Greg is the collaboration, professionalism and energy that each individual on the team brings to WAXIE.

Greg is a relatively “newer” member to WAXIE’s team, having been in his role since 2016, and something that attracted him to make the switch to WAXIE is the impressive tenure that many current team members have, along with their willingness to embrace the “new-bee” on the team!

MEET THE REST OF THE TEAM!

At WAXIE, planning and process execution can be drastically different from one department to another. The company knows that each group requires a specific type of manager, and it works hard to match the perfect person to the position. This way, each group can operate at an optimal level and avoid any unnecessary frustrations from day to day.

Once a month, employees at WAXIE enjoy what the company calls “Cake Day.” Used to celebrate any birthdays falling within the given time period, the organization orders a whole bunch of cakes and pies of different kinds to be delivered to the office and presented to the group of celebrants—and eaten at each person’s leisure throughout the day.
