WAXIE Announces Several Promotions & New Sales Managers

SAN DIEGO, CA -- WAXIE Sanitary Supply, America’s largest independently-owned distributor of sanitary maintenance supplies, is pleased to announce the following:


Keith Schneringer, Director of Channel Marketing and Sustainability

It is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion of Keith Schneringer from Market Manager to Director of Channel Marketing and Sustainability. In his new role Keith will be responsible for connecting sales to marketing and the continued development of WAXIE’s Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

“Our commitment to making workplace environments clean, sustainable, and healthy is complimented by the addition of Keith in this new, strategic role,” says Rick Hazard, Vice President of Marketing, WAXIE Sanitary Supply.


Sandy Nourian, Director of Procurement and Programs Management

“We are excited to have Sandy in her new role, as it will help WAXIE continue to provide high customer service marks and performance levels for our customers,” says Rick Hazard, Vice President of Marketing, WAXIE Sanitary Supply.

Sandy will assume the responsibility and role of Director of Procurement and Programs Management. She will continue to manage the entire procurement process, the Corporate Buyer team, inventory performance metrics, vendor programs, product information, and analytical data.


Umahl Anderson, WAXIE San Diego Sales Manager

Umahl has been an integral member of our team since joining WAXIE San Diego two years ago as our Healthcare Specialist and achieved the recognition as “Rookie of the Year” in his 1st full year in our division. Umahl brings a strong sales and coaching background to our management group and we are excited to have his leadership.

Umahl came to WAXIE with over 9 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to WAXIE Umahl held positions as Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Lily USA and Senior Specialty Sales Rep and Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Merck & Co. Inc.


Louis Horvath, WAXIE San Diego Sales Manager

Louis is coming to WAXIE San Diego positioned for tremendous success with his past roles and education in management. Since joining WAXIE, in Santa Ana two years ago, he has developed a reputation as an extremely capable player with our customer base and vendor partners.

“Louis is an impressive professional with many years of experience in leadership, sales and account management. We fully expect for him to blend well with our culture in San Diego and immediately begin contributing to his team,” Lee Jackson, General Manager, San Diego Division, WAXIE Sanitary Supply.

In addition to his impressive experience Louis holds an advanced degree in Management from the University of Redlands. Prior to joining WAXIE Louis spent over 14 years in sales and account management with Nestle Waters North America and UPS. 



Goldie Council, WAXIE Las Vegas Sales Manager

“Goldie’s years of experience in the facilities maintenance arena, her passion for the business and her exuberant personality will make a profound contribution to the WAXIE Las Vegas Division.  We are excited to have her as a part of our team,” said Lou Richards, Vice President/General Manager, Las Vegas Division, WAXIE Sanitary Supply.

Goldie has been in Las Vegas since 2011 and was brought to the area by way of an HD Supply Facilities Maintenance Opportunity. The opportunity was a new venture for HD Supply and was considered a test market. Goldie excelled in this role and managed a sales team with a portfolio of more than 100 new accounts and was able to achieve record breaking growth in the Las Vegas market. Goldie has also worked at Soraa and most recently Codale Electric Supply
