Eric Cohen, Vice President Supply Chain

Eric Cohen has served WAXIE for over 17 years in a variety of leadership positions within Operations.  Through his constant pursuit of “better”, Eric has developed a passion for supporting One WAXIE while creating a more operationally efficient organization.

Starting as WAXIE’s Corporate Operations Director in 2000, Eric worked at transforming WAXIE’s branch operations into a singular team focused on performance based logistics, network optimization, warehouse design, and transportation management.   In 2007, Eric continued to focus heavily on WAXIE’s logistics and was promoted to Sr. Director of Logistics.  In 2010, through the recognition of Eric’s impact in helping shape WAXIE’s operations through his leadership and innovative processes, Eric was promoted to the position of Vice President of Logistics.  In 2017, Eric was promoted again to his current position as WAXIE’s Vice President of Supply Chain where Eric has focused his talents in bolstering WAXIE’s service levels, inventory management, continued focus on safety, logistics, and facility management to include construction projects and property leases.

Born and raised in San Diego, Eric graduated from the University of California, San Diego and earned a Master’s degree in Logistics from Florida Institute of Technology Melbourne, Florida.  Upon graduation from the University of California, San Diego, Eric was commissioned a 2^nd Lt. in the United States Marine Corps.  Eric served both as a Supply and Logistics officer leaving the Corps 1997 as a Captain and earning the rank of Major in the reserves. 

During his leisure time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid waterman enjoying surfing, sailing, spearfishing, and snorkeling.
